Melvin Douglas Wilson is a Christian author, speaker, and entrepreneur who has a tremendous zeal for the Word of God ever since surrendering to Jesus Christ late in his life. Since being saved by the amazing Grace of God, this author has never stopped his great hunger and thirst to study the Holy Scriptures and the many themes of the Bible that can be applied to our daily lives.
Author Melvin Douglas Wilson is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University (2009) and is now preparing himself for the next leg of his Christian journey after his retirement from the Aerospace industry. The author has recently completed a comprehensive History of Christianity 1 & 2 at Central Connecticut State University. Melvin Douglas Wilson is also a graduate of Manchester Community College (2017), Crossroads Community International Bible Institute (2014), New England School of the Bible (2011), Emanuel Baptist Theological Seminary (2006), and Springfield Technical Community College (2004). Today, he is involved with the Yale School of Divinity Bible Study program and studies with the Les Feldick Bible Study Ministry. The author also writes Christian-based op-eds for his local town newspaper.
Melvin Douglas Wilson is the author of five excellent books. His first book, “The Good Book,” is a case for finding Jesus Christ in your life, which is an excellent book for adult reading. The author has also written three children’s books, “The Parable of the Spirit that Whispers” and “The Parable of the Young Priest.” His other children’s book, “Jimmy’s Got a Gun – The Crash Brothers Forever,” helps to address gun and gang violence with a moral and spiritual solution to help heal these two social problems. This book is for young adults and can be an excellent platform for parents and Church groups to address bullying, gun, and gang violence before it happens.
The author’s newest adult book, “The Survival Guide for Christians Living in a Fallen World,” addresses the many problems that most Christians face in the world today and provides a spiritual solution to help navigate the moral decay in the world.
Melvin Douglas Wilson is also a speaker at local area Recovery Ministries, giving a Christian-based message to people needing Spiritual support, and a member of the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association.
Melvin Douglas Wilson and his wife Valerie have founded Wilson Ministries, which helps people struggling in their communities by providing encouragement, supporting social programs, and selling Christian-based resources to people at affordable prices. In addition, their Christian Ministry helps to get struggling people into the Church of Jesus Christ. Our mission statement “is to help save one soul at a time.”
